Yeast-Free Bread Mix

Makes one loaf of bread

 

This bread is so light and fluffy, it’s hard to believe that it’s gluten-free. The ground chia/ flax seeds add omega-3 and omega-6, as well as increase the protein and fibre content.

 

 

YEAST-FREE BREAD MIX

 

Makes one loaf of bread

2 tbsp ground Chia seeds or ground Salba®
3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup warm water
1/3 cup virgin olive oil or oil of your choice
1 cup water

 

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 400°F and grease bread pan.
2. In a large bowl, add ground Chia/Salba®, vinegar and 1/4 cup of warm water.
Stir and let sit for 1 – 2 minutes. 
3. Add oil and 1 cup of water to bowl and stir until combined. 
4. Add entire contents of pouch and stir until completely combined. 
5. Pour into bread pan and gently shake until evenly distributed. 
6. Bake for 1 hour and 5 minutes. 
7. Allow to cool for approximately 30 minutes.

This mix also makes 4 mini-loaves.
